When Ganesh was just a little boy, about the age of 2. He would wander the streets of Mumbai in search of some ladoo. Now for those of you who do not know what ladoo is, I will tell you. It is an Indian sweet that is round and juicy and full of sweetness.
Ganesh had the sweetest tooth in the whole world and ladoo was his favourite sweet to eat. Ganesh was fondly known to all his friends as ganu. So this is what we will call him for the rest of this story. He would tippy toe into peoples houses or ride on his best friend the mouse so as not to disturb them & go through all their kitchen cupboards looking for his ladoo. Those homes that he found his wonderful ladoo in, Ganu would bestow a beautiful boon for the family or people who lived there.
Ganu was a cheeky Sanatan Dharma Deity. He had the head of an elephant & a tubby tummy that would help him digest all the fear based demons that people would conjure up to cause havoc in peoples lives & prevent them from living a prosperous and fulfiled life.
Ganu had many names and one of those names was the "Dancing Ganesh". As he was often seen around town or in peoples homes wearing a pretty pink tutu dancing to a fanciful tune, laughing, playing & singing. At other times he would dress as a hard rocker in black leather pants, jacket, dark sunglasses that would shade his eyes from the fire from his fathers belly because you all might remember that Shiva the deity of fire was ganu's dadu, along with a guitar so he could play a tune that would rock the world from its foundation to help awaken the beautiful being within.
Ganu's symbol is the Aum & his vehicle is a mouse. His choice of the mouse as his vehicle was to let people know that he was humbled by the opportunity to dance, play, sing, laugh with people to assist in shifting limiting beliefs that are so often created by people & help shatter them so they remember their own inner universal being that laughs, sings, plays, dances & creates an enchanted world to live from within. Of course he also likes to fart so the toxins of others that are held deep within are quickly released, but that is a story we will tell much later.
Now Ganu would also play with others in this most magical world. He would flit & fly with the fairies who would dance with delight in his company, just for the sheer joy of it & sometimes they would hold fairy picnics where they would have the yummiest of sweets to eat & they would always ensure there was enough ladoo for Ganu to eat so he would always feel comforted & sweet.
All the fairies had wings, so Ganu grew some wings too so he could flit & fly around the gardens edge & then fly high in the sky to see what was ahead. Then the fairies & Ganu would run, jump, skip across the crystal lagoons edge & speak to the mermaids & the underwater creatures that lay deep in the depths of the crystal lagoon.
Deep in the crystal lagoon lived the most powerful magician. This magician new all sorts of tricks, spells & potions to create magical things. In the underwater world lay all knowledge since before time began. Their were pretty pink & mauve mushroom shaped homes that moved & swayed with the ebb & flow of the currents & sparkled even more brilliantly when all passers by kissed, gentley touched, hugged or sent them a loving thought for in this beautiful world, love was what created the life within all the creatures that lived within.
So you all know that this was Ganu's favourite place to play & create in. He would sit & laugh for hours upon hours singing to himself & passersby eating his ladoo for even in this crystal lagoon world word had spread that anyone who gives Ganu his ladoo with love & kindness in their hearts receives many boons throughout their many lifetimes.
Ganu had no secrets, he would talk with anyone & tell them of his adventures & there were many as you will come to know. So when you feel sad or unhappy, call his name and hold out your arms, open your heart so he can come & cuddle you and help you remember to dance , sing, play & live from within, loving every moment you are in!
Namaste
